One Red Heart, Remembering Mission "- Party Building Activity of Shimao Copper Industry

  On April 20th, the company's party branch organized all party members and active party applicants to carry out the "One Red Heart, Remembering the Mission" themed party building activity in Shizishan and Hengkantou villages in Qiu'ao.

In the morning, we arrived at Lion Mountain located in Qiu'ao Village to carry out the Red Ancient Trail hiking activity. Party members climbed the steps all the way to the top of the mountain and experienced the hardships and difficulties of the Red Army's Long March during the hiking activity. At the foot of the mountain, we also visited the statue of "Siming Mountain Mother" and learned about the touching story of the revolutionary martyr "Siming Mountain Mother": In September 1945, the Zhejiang East Column of the New Fourth Army was ordered to retreat north. Weng Dahua, a villager who was feeding Tan Dakai, the newborn child of political commissar Tan Qilong, resolutely chose to carry Dakai north and left his 4-month-old son Qiu Mingxing at home. In 1947, Weng Dahua, who had already joined the New Fourth Army, sacrificed herself in the Yimeng Mountain area. We have great respect for the revolutionary spirit of Weng Dahua, known as the "Mother of Siming Mountain," who selflessly sacrificed herself. This red revolutionary spirit is also being carried forward and inherited in Qiu'ao.

 

In the afternoon, the party members arrived at the Red Revolution Base Liangnong Hengkantou Village and visited the village committee office building and cultural hall of Hengkantou Village. During the visit, we gained a deep understanding of the development process of Hengkantou Village and earnestly studied the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply to Hengkantou Village: never forget the original intention, keep in mind the mission, inherit the red genes, and give full play to the role of the Party organization as a fighting fortress and the exemplary role of Party members.

We deeply felt the tremendous changes brought about by adhering to the leadership of Party building in Hengqiaotou Village. Over the past 15 years, Hengqiaotou Village has conscientiously implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions to build Liangnong into a well-known well-off and civilized village, utilizing its own advantages to develop red tourism and continuously strengthen green characteristic agriculture. The prominent words' Transform the General Secretary's warm care into a powerful driving force to strive for excellence 'inspire us, and the driving force for the development of Hengkantou Village is also the driving force for the development of our enterprise.

  Party members express that we must cherish this hard won beautiful life, integrate the revolutionary predecessors' red spirit of "hard work and selfless dedication" into our work and life, maintain a red heart, remember our mission, and take the "reply spirit" as a guide to effectively play the exemplary role of Party members and contribute to the development of the company!
